The following candidates are those candidates in contested elections for U.S. Congress, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and
legislature we believe will best serve the people of their districts, our state, and will best represent The Ten Big Issues the
Heritage Coalition supports.
During the closing days of the campaigns, contact these candidates from your districts and volunteer your services to them.
Remember to vote on election day. Make your voice heard, from your house to the White House.
GEORGIA U. S. CONGRESS
Congressional District 8 Lynn Westmoreland, Republican.
Congressional District 11 Rick Crawford, Democrat.
Congressional District 12 Max Burn, Republican.
GEORGIA COURT OF APPEALS
Mike Sheffield. Attorney Sheffield is well qualified for the position, conservative, and a native Georgian. One
opponent, Howard Mead, is attempting to win the election with misleading slick TV ads. Mead is backed by large Atlanta Law Firms and Roy Barnes, whose
administration he served in. NOTE: On the weekend before election day, we have reports that thousands of automated phone calls were
heard across Georgia....the voices of Roy Barnes and Jesse Jackson were used to encourage voters to vote for Sheffield's opponent, Howard Mead. Their comments were
racially oriented and besmirched the '56 flag. Send a message to the Barnes and Jackson crowd----defeat their candidate!
