Heritage Insurance Policy Cancellation Notice
Those policyholders who do not fulfill their contractual obligations (provide clear support for the Fair Vote Act) will have their Heritage Insurance policies lapse effective March 1, 2004. Notification of said lapse will be published for the enlightenment of Georgia voters on March 1, 2004.
This notice is not required by law, but rather is provided as a service of the Heritage Insurance Policyholders Protection Plan. We would regret seeing anyone’s policy terminated. The Georgia Heritage Coalition cannot understand why anyone would allow their policy to lapse; nevertheless, we must require good faith demonstrations by our policyholders.
For those who wish to retain coverage within the grace period, their Policy may be reinstated without loss of benefits by contacting GHC renewal department immediately. Benefits and requirements are further described below.
BENEFITS of your Georgia Heritage Coalition FAIR VOTE Insurance Policy Please feel free to contact the Georgia Heritage Coalition renewal department staff. Jim Dean, in Marietta, stands ready to help you at 404.966.6827 jimwdean@aol.com or me, in Gainesville at 770.297.4788 jajeffdavis@webtv.net
Jeff Davis Senators Whose Insurance Has Lapsed As of February 13, 2004 Help Spread the Word...
1. SAFETY – It’s a built-in failsafe mechanism that renders the March 2 referendum void and moot.
2. FAIRNESS & REPRESENTATION - The July General Primary will represent a much broader cross-section of the people of Georgia. The Presidential Preference (March 2) Primary is all over but the shouting. The biggest turnout in March will likely be for local issues, such as taxes.
3. SAFETY – Who knows what will happen with such an incomplete and unpredictable low voter turnout? Wouldn’t you like to have a sure thing?
4. REDUCED RISK - The December Mason-Dixon poll showed the Perdue flag at 42% and the Barnes flag at 39%. Democrats are the only party with a presidential contest, such as it is. Are you ready to flip a coin?
5. REMOVE THE BULLSEYE FROM YOUR FOREHEAD - Regardless of the results of a March referendum, the people will never accept it in their minds because they know it was rigged from the start. They know they were promised a referendum on the flag that was stolen and the replacement flag. The 2003 Flag was brought in by a stealth maneuver very reminiscent of the Barnes sneak attack of 2001. One of the choices promised in 2002 was secretly replaced by a complete stranger never in contention. Many voters consider this an insult! Do you support this form of unfairness and shady surprises? If not, declare your support for Fairness today!
6. USE YOUR HEAD BUT NOT AS A TARGET - Anyone who believes this issue will end without a full and fair vote is only subjecting themselves to the scrutiny and retribution of an already angry and suspecting electorate. Avoid the risk!
7. HEDGE YOUR BETS, REDUCE YOUR RISK - The newly approved districts for House and Senate will NOT be in effect by March 2nd, but they will be likely approved by July and the July Primary will likely fall under the new districts. For legislators and voters the results will be a bellwether for how each district stacks up for November. With the flag issue a sore point with voters it could be a major issue and the voting records of those who failed to support a Fair Vote will most certainly come into play and could cause some primary surprises. Angry voters in strange new districts have a history of expelling incumbents. Do you feel lucky?
