TEN
SOUTHERN CULTURAL ASSASSINS
- Commentary by Dr. William H. Swann
Ten
Organizations that want to eradicate all Southern Heritage
Recently the Southern Poverty Law
Center
put out a list of 40 individuals who they
considered “Threats” to the rampant Multiculturalism they seemingly
endorse. Like most things originating from the SPLC, the list is a
fascinating mix of truth, half-truth, and outright lies. Their language is
such that the outright lies are done with innuendo so the individuals
can’t sue for defamation of character; unfortunately, this leads many
gullible citizens to believe everything is true since some of what they
publish is clearly factual. Dr. Michael Hill, chairman and founder of the
League
of the South, was one such person they
chose to demonize. He and some other leaders of various, and in some cases
"discredited," groups within organizations such as Sons of Confederate
Veterans, and League of the South are mingled in with true hate mongers that no
one in the Heritage Preservation movement would ever have anything to do
with. This is the way the SPLC raises money from all across the U.S.
pointing out how much is money is needed to continue pointing out such
hate mongering scum.
While this article will never reach the broad circulation of
the aforementioned SPLC article, it occurs to me that we need to learn from our
enemies. This has been done to some extent with the “Flagger’s Deck of Cards (also
know in some circles at the traitors Deck of Shame). So we know and
understand through the efforts and expense of others exactly who some of
the Southern Heritage Preservation Movements individual enemies are. This
article then seeks to point out the organizations that continually support
the ongoing cultural genocide of ALL Southern Culture. If I leave
off one or more of those you feel deserving of this distinction, you are
probably right. The Southern Heritage and Southern Culture that
historically promotes love of GOD, Family, Region, and Country has enemies
everywhere.
Top Ten Southern Cultural
Assassins
1.) The Southern Poverty Law Center of Montgomery Alabama: This organization made the determination shortly after
winning the case against the World Church of the Creator that they were
running out of demons to slay. They were instrumental in the destruction
of the KKK, and now the Church of the Creator. The problem the SPLC and
its leader Morris Dees faced was a dramatic decrease in contributions. Mr.
Dees might work for an organization with poverty in its name, but his
lifestyle is lavish in the extreme.
The SPLC searched the whole of the U.S. and determined that the next great threat to civilization * (as they saw it) was the Southern Heritage
Preservation movement. This was during the South Carolina flag fight and
Mr. Dees never saw a headline he didn’t want to grab. I believe they
coined the term “Neo Confederate” to apply to those who had the
unmitigated gall to actually love the heritage of their state, region, and
in some cases, family. The SPLC decided this was not love of Heritage, but
hatred of black Americans. Remember there is no money in attacking someone
for loving their heritage, but hate brings in those
contributions.
The SPLC put out a list of “Neo
Confederate” hate groups, this included those notorious hate
mongers,
Sons of Confederate
Veterans
. According to the SPLC paper it seems
that group is actually into killing their enemies (they forgot to mention
this was during battle re-enactment’s). Clearly this group was one that
needed monitoring.
Then there was the League
of the South. They were identified as a group of men with Doctorate
Degrees that promoted separate but equal conditions for all Americans black
or white. They were also against illegal immigration and American jobs
being sent outside our United States borders. This clearly demonstrated to
the SPLC’S satisfaction they were a hate group to be reckoned with. They
hated lost American Jobs; they decried the loss of both white and black
heritage being taught to the children of those races. You bet this was a
hate group to be watched closely.
The SPLC next identified an
organization in Atlanta called The Heritage Preservation
Association
. This group was so reactionary, well
just talking about them almost caused the SPLC to close its doors in fear
of retaliation. The HPA group was attempting to maintain the Confederate
Battle flag as part of their state flag (Georgia). The SPLC never clearly
identified how they were a hate group, but since they were in favor of a
Confederate Flag they must hate someone.
Last was my personal favorite. This
group is so clearly filled with hate and promotes so much violence that
according to the inference of the SPLC they were probably more dangerous
than Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein combined. This dangerous hate
group is none other than the
United Daughters of the
Confederacy . Since my Mother was a member until
she died in 1992 I have first hand knowledge of all the evil this group
espoused. This group hated everyone so much that every year at
Thanksgiving and Christmas they collected food and toys for the
underprivileged. The families were treated equally whether black or white,
but I’m sure those ladies hated some of the people they were helping, they
just disguised that hatred with smiles and tears as they helped those
families.
Then there was that other treacherous
and hateful activity. Those callous women raised money for operations and
other critical medical care needed by people without means, again black,
white and in one case I remember an itinerate Mexican family that was just
moving through the area. I can personally testify all these women loved
GOD, Family, and Country. They also hated poverty, illness, and poor
education, so yes the SPLC was right, again, they were a "hate"
group.
It is rumored that to this day that just
mentioning the name United Daughters of the Confederacy can cause Mr. Dees
to wet his pants, or it may be he just has a weak bladder. Either way he
is clearly terrified of those lovely, classy, LADIES who honor All Things
Southern with their quiet dignity.
2.) The Atlanta Taliban, aka
Cartel of Commerce,
aka ChamberPot of Commerce
.
I struggle getting their name right,
or they do, someone is clearly wrong about the name.
SIDEBAR: Too young to know
what a chamber pot is? It's a noun, "a portable vessel used
in the bedroom as a toilet." In the days before indoor plumbing,
folks didn't want to go outside to the outhouse at night. Instead, they
used chamber pots when necessary and disposed of contents when they arose
the next morning. Click here to view
one.
While the SPLC makes its money
promoting hatred, or exposing hatred to hear them tell it, the Atlanta
Cartel is there to promote what they consider commerce. They are led by a
who’s who of Atlanta Business but for now we’ll deal with them as a group.
The
Taliban knows what is best for Georgia citizens whether those
citizens know it or not. They determined that it was in the best interest
of all of Georgia citizens to change the Georgia State Flag back in 2000.
They approached Governor Roy Barnes and made him the proverbial offer he
couldn’t refuse. If Governor Barnes would change the flag, they would
provide him the largest campaign war chest in Georgia’s history. Governor
Barnes did, and the Cartel came through. The Taliban helped
or raised over 20 million dollars for the Governor’s re-election. When the
Governor approached the Cartel, er, Chamberpot about money for
those state legislators who would face the wrath of their districts voters,
the Cartel formed a Political PAC. They provided a minimum
of $2,000, usually more, per legislator in state districts where that
legislator voted to change the flag.
The
Taliban watched in amazement when their heavily financed Governor
went down in flames to a lightly regarded Republican. Some would have
thought this would teach the Atlanta Taliban the same lesson that
the bombing taught the ones in Afghanistan, but no, these folks have more
money than those ignorant flag folks *[Chamber’s words]. So the
Cartel went and bought themselves another group of politicians.
This almost wasn’t enough, but at the last second, several Republican state
Senators received a massive campaign contribution. Just like Judas
they sold out their supporters, though it is rumored those Republican
state Senators cost considerably more than 30 pieces of silver.
Senators Clay, Price, Tanksley, and Collins individually and collectively
made it known what their price was. They then sold out those very same
Southern Heritage Preservation folks they had promised a vote on the 56
flag. It was probably just a coincidence that immediately after this flag
sell-out that Senators Clay and Price announced they were running for the
US Congress, and both had an amazing amount of money raised for the new
race while the Georgia Legislature was still in session. Just coincidence,
yeah, right!
Then
the Atlanta Taliban, Cartel, Chamber pot,
whatever,
had the gall to post on their 2003 legislative recap that they were
instrumental in keeping the citizens of Georgia from voting on the 56
flag. In their own words:
Metro
Atlanta Chamber of Commerce 2003 Legislative Wrap Up
In a long and final day
spent at the Capitol on Friday, the General Assembly completed the 2003
session by adopting several important pieces of legislation and sending
them to Gov. Perdue for his signature or veto. We are very pleased close
to 3/4 of our agenda passed.
The State Flag
One of the most
important actions this session was legislation creating a new state
flag, HB 380. Our position opposing the controversial Confederate battle
flag won out. This means that in a March, 2004 referendum, Georgians can
choose between the current flag or a new design – the so-called “stars
and bars” version of the pre-’56 flag. Gov. Perdue has indicated he will
sign HB 380 into law. We congratulate our legislative leaders for
reaching this compromise and appreciate the hard work of our members.
Special thanks go to Arthur Blank, John Rice, Allen Franklin, Mike
Eskew, Duane Ackerman and David Ratcliffe, as well as Georgia Power,
Turner Broadcasting and GE Power Systems for loaning their lobbyists. We
can all be proud of this effort. You all helped play a key
role.
Sort of makes you sick at your stomach
doesn’t it?
#3.) & #4.) {Tied} The Georgia Democratic Party and
Republican Party
It
is increasingly difficult to understand the thought process of the major
political parties. The Democrats are tied to the aforementioned Atlanta
Taliban, and owe all of their successes in past elections to the Black
Voters of Georgia. The black voters seemingly much smarter than their
“so-called white brethren”, have long known how to block-vote. This block-vote along with the old
conservative Yellow Dog Democrats was enough to keep the
Democrats in power in Georgia until the 2002 elections. So, it is easy to
understand the Democrat taking most of the Georgia Electorate for granted.
This was the prevalent attitude when then Governor Roy Barnes forced the
hated blue rag
on the
citizens of Georgia with the help of the Democratic
Legislature.
So in 2002, when
the “real” silent majority spoke, they kicked Governor Barnes out of office despite Governor Barnes outspending the unknown Republican Sonny
Perdue by more than 8 to 1. This upset the Democrats apple cart and forced
those remaining scalawags to retreat. When the 2003 Georgia Legislature
went into session, the somewhat less than Honorable Speaker Terry
Coleman
was at his wit’s
end. His very political life was at stake, what could he and the other
Democrats do to halt the erosion of Democratic Office holders?
History
shows us that what Coleman and his cronies decided to do was to paralyze
the Legislative process. This would make the new Governor look inept. If
the Republicans couldn’t get any bills passed, then the State would run
out of money. Of course, the crafty old Democrats wouldn’t have let that
happen, they are ruthless, but not stupid. No. They decided to see if they could
make the Republican leadership blink first.
The
Republicans, being in power for the very first time, did blink. When
offered a lifeline by the Democrats, they forgot to check and see if an
anchor was attached. Of course it was, so down went the Republicans.
Outsmarted by Mr. Coleman, et al.
Those
sneaky Democrats told the Republicans the Democrats would pass the Budget
with its Cigarette tax, if only the Governor would sign a Flag bill
without that “old ugly St. Andrews Cross on
it.“
“What”, said Governor Perdue, “You
want me to go back on my solemn promise to let the Georgia Citizens vote
on the flag of their Choice?”
“Well,”
says Mr. Coleman, “That new flag proposed by that Republican Franklin
fellow is sort of Confederate. Governor, I’m sure that if you
eliminate the opportunity to vote on that Ugly 56 flag but stand up
for the new sort of Confederate flag, that all your
supporters will stand proudly right beside you.” (Unbeknownst to Governor
Perdue, Speaker Coleman had his finger, toes, eyes, and tongue crossed
{his tongue is able to do this because of the forking of said tongue},
which meant it was okay to lie to someone from a different political
party).
So,
a deal was made with the devil, and the beloved 56 Georgia State Flag was
sold down the river, AGAIN. The real clever thing Speaker Coleman
did was make Sonny the target of most of the anger from those who love
their Southern Heritage. Of course Speaker Coleman, being somewhat stupid
himself then cast the deciding vote to keep the people of Georgia from
being able to vote on their flag.
The
Republican Party started to cozy up to the Atlanta Cartel who were
very appreciative of the Republicans denying the citizens a right to vote
on their State Flag. Large sums of money changed hands, campaign
contributions don’t you know? There was so much money being tossed about
that even a Freshman Republican Congressman named Gingrey who had no stake
in the matter turned on those Heritage folks he begged to support him,
just to get a few crumbs off the Taliban’s table. I’m told he and
Governor Perdue bumped heads under that table, but that’s just a rumor.
So
now the Taliban, Cartel, Chamber pot, whatever, has it both ways. No matter
what party is in power, they’ve sold their souls to the devil. The Devil
says it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks outside Metro Atlanta, because
the Golden Rule is in effect (Those who have the gold make
the rules.
).
What
is confusing about all the above is this. The Republicans probably didn’t
get 2,000 votes from Black voters in the entire state. The Taliban
supported the Democrats until the voters threw them out of office. So the
Republican Party gives the people who elected them the fickle finger of
fate while cozying up to the Black Caucus, and the Taliban both of which can’t
wait to vote those stupid Republicans out of office? And those businessmen
from the cartel say we voters are stupid? Duh! It is rumored
that the new dictionary has the Georgia Republican party pictured next to
the definition of stupid
,
but again, that is just a rumor.
5.) The Black Legislative
Caucus
I hesitated to list the above group,
not because they don’t hate all things Confederate, they do, but because
they are at least honest in what they believe and their actions to repress
others. They certainly have experienced repression as a race, now that
they have some power they figure that some payback is
due.
The problem with
that is that the people on whom most of their anger is focused are
not
the people who have the power to oppress them. Most of the people they are
acting against are folks just like themselves. I’m not suggesting that
there aren’t any racial problems within the state of Georgia, of course
there are. Instead of focusing on the one or two percent of people, black
or white, that are the problem, we instead wind up fighting a battle of
the middle class of both races. This keeps the Cultural Elite
above the fray,
where they can talk about how the middle classes of both races are so
intolerant.
So
the Black Legislative Caucus hates all things Confederate, and most things
and people involved with attempting to preserve Southern Heritage. They
are focusing on Slavery, which was and is a despicable institution, but
forgetting that institution didn’t originate in the South. It was still a
major factor in the economy of the Southern States, and unless one of your
ancestors was enslaved it is difficult to imagine how you’d feel about it
even one hundred and fifty years later. While I don’t want to make a
feeble attempt at education here, less than 5 % of all Confederate
Soldiers owned Slaves and the vast majority were among the officer corps.
While the noble Yankees seldom used slaves in the workforce, almost 50% of
the Yankee Officers had black servants in their families, if not their
homes. Just like today there are millions of people, black and white that
don’t know the difference between the definition of indentured servant,
and slave. Let me offer everyone a hint, neither was supposed to be paid
for their labor. This didn’t mean that there weren’t good people North and
South who treated their Slaves or Servants well, but free, not
nearly.
So
at least we know this enemy; we can understand their anger even if we feel
like it shouldn’t be directed at us. They among all the enemies of the
Preservation of Southern Heritage are the most honest and open.
There is one last thing here I’m sure
those leaders of the Black Legislative Caucus have failed to see in the
future. These proponents of Multiculturalism oppose the recognition of any
heritage. So once they get rid of the Southern Heritage, will it be long
before it is Politically Incorrect to be proud to be a black citizen and
celebrate Black Heritage?

6. Coca-Cola:
Let
me see if I have these facts correct. Coca-Cola was founded by a
Confederate Veteran, located in Atlanta and its brand name identity is so
strong that people within this region don’t ask for a soda, they
invariably ask for a Coke.
This
Southern-based Company becomes involved with the Atlanta Chamber Pot,
whatever, and decides it is their “POLITICAL DUTY” to take an
interest in destroying the same flag their founder was willing to die to
protect. Hmmm… The old expression about someone being upset when what they
gave their life’s blood reverses its direction is called “turning over in
their grave.” John Pemberton, who founded Coca-Cola,
must be spinning at about 1200 RPM (I mean no disrespect to Mr. Pemberton,
or his family).

see what the Atlanta Journal Constitution had to
say:

SPOTLIGHT - Big business
boosts flag-change backers
By JOHN McCOSH
Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Staff Writer
Dozens of rural Georgia legislators went on a political limb last
year to support changing the state flag. Now many of them are getting a
re-election boost from those who benefited from the change --
businesses.
Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, SouthTrust Corp., the Georgia Business
Political Action Committee and a hospitality industry PAC are spreading
hundreds of thousands of dollars to candidates across the state who
supported the flag change, according to campaign disclosure
records.
Charles Hood, who handles governmental affairs for Atlanta-based
Georgia Pacific, said his company used a list of flag-change supporters to
target nearly $43,000 it donated to lawmakers this
year.
"You understand what an issue like this can do politically and you
understand that these people may need help," Hood
said.
Led by Gov. Roy Barnes, lawmakers moved quickly to change the flag
in 2001. Tourism officials say the state could have lost $300 million if
the NAACP followed through with a threatened boycott over the old flag
because of its dominant Confederate battle
emblem.
But "Let Us Vote" signs across the state calling for a referendum
offer evidence that some Georgians are still unhappy with the change and
plan revenge against the legislators who voted for
it.
The lawmakers most burdened by their vote to change, experts agree,
are rural Democrats who face GOP challengers. Many of those Republicans
are making the flag change a key campaign
issue.
'These folks need some help'
State
Sen. Richard Marable (D-Rome), in a tough race against Republican attorney
Preston Smith, did not return phone messages seeking comment last week.
But he said last year he knew his vote could cost him his seat: "For
Georgia to move forward, not as we were but as we want to be, it was in
the best interest . . . to change the flag. In my district, they may
choose someone who saw things differently."
This year, Marable was one of several flag-change supporters to
receive nearly $4,000 in contributions from Coke. (His opponent favors a
nonbinding referendum on the flag.)
The total amount of corporate support won't be known before the
Nov. 5 election because legislators have until next week to send in final
disclosure reports. But records show that legislators who supported the
flag change have already gotten plenty of contributions from the business
community.
Host, an Atlanta-based hospitality industry PAC, is funded by
companies with reason to reward flag-change supporters. It sent nearly
$115,000 worth of contributions almost exclusively to incumbents in
contested races who voted to change the flag, including $2,000 each to
Sens. George Hooks (D-Americus), Rene Kemp (D-Hinesville) and Nathan Dean
(D-Rockmart). Host PAC's money came from such tourism-reliant companies as
the Hyatt Regency and Ritz-Carlton.
Bill Jones III, president of the Sea Island Co. on the coast, is
another member of the hospitality industry backing legislators who voted
to change the flag. In August he sent $1,000 checks to 15 House and Senate
members who supported the change.
Rep. Calvin Smyre (D-Columbus) is credited with helping to get the
legislators and the business community together to help make the flag
change happen. He is also chairman of the state Democratic Party and has
made calls to potential donors on behalf of colleagues facing tough
re-election challenges.
"I don't think there was a quid pro quo," Smyre said. "But I think
the conventional wisdom is that these folks are going to need some help.
And I've been a part of that."
Companies and their PACs often give to candidates, but this year
the usual donors dug a little deeper, according to disclosure reports
filed by candidates.
Coca-Cola, for example, typically sprinkles checks
for a few hundred dollars around the state. But this summer Coke sent
contributions of nearly $4,000 to several high-ranking incumbents,
including Marable, the Senate majority whip, and Senate Public Safety
Committee Chairman Rooney Bowen (D-Cordele), who also voted to change the
flag. Coca-Cola's Connell Stafford, who sent checks to candidates across
the state in August, did not respond to interview requests.
So a company with very Confederate
roots is now giving more money to politicians that eliminated the
Confederate Battle emblem from the Georgia State Flag than they have ever
donated before. Without the Southern people, Coca-Cola wouldn’t exist, so
to pay back those people who have supported the Coca-Cola Company over the
years, they stab them in the back.
Coca-Cola is rumored to be in
that Dictionary I mentioned earlier beside several definitions.
Treacherous is one, Untrustworthy is another, and
Ungracious is another still.
Folks think about this for just a
second, over your lifetime about a penny of every Coca-Cola purchase you
have made went to reward Georgia Legislators who voted to change your
flag. I can’t speak for anyone else, but this provokes in me the same
feeling, as noticing there is only half a worm in the apple I just took a
bite of. It makes me physically ill.
I’ve personally written many letters to everyone
at Coca-Cola, and they’ve written me back saying they stood totally behind
their contributions. They went on to tell me (and you) that they had no
fear of a Southern backlash or boycott because there weren’t enough people
in the Heritage Preservation Movement that had any resolve (guts) for a
long struggle. I’m still really resolved not
to drink Coca-Cola, and apparently around a half a million other citizens
representing forty-one different states are equally resolved. I wonder
which people Coca-Cola thought they were dealing
with?
Mike Crane with the Southern Party of Georgia has demanded Coca-Cola make a contribution equal to the amount they made
to anti-Southern causes to organizations involved with the Preservation of
our Southern Heritage. He also demanded they never again meddle in
politics unless it is an issue related to their core business. I
personally and totally support Mr. Crane’s demands. There is a list of
Coca-Cola Management names and addresses on the Southern
Party of Georgia’s web site. Check it out and drop those folks a
line.

# 6-10 are the other usual suspects and
members of the Atlanta Taliban.

The ultimate irony
here is the word South
is so large a part of the names and/or the histories of these
institutions. Home Depot
probably deserved their own number, as despite their Southern founding,
and Southern homebase, they wouldn’t exist without the millions of
Southern dollars spent in Home Depots across the South. Lowe’s is a
Southern based company too, and so far they haven’t donated money to
anti-Southern causes.
The Folks at Bell South sent out a memo barring any and all
Confederate Flags, Logo’s, or likenesses from their Yellow Pages. My
personal opinion is that Bell South should drop the South from their name.
For all you folks out there upset with Bell South, there is a new local
and Long distance carrier by the name of Talk America (1-800-608-0577).
Those of you who still have a local phone company can’t switch, but you
aren’t dealing with Bell South either. If your bill says Bell South check
out Talk America, you can even keep your same number. Oh there is one
drawback, Talk America is Cheaper for the same service, so you might have
extra money to spend.
The Southern Company is
another turncoat, the company couldn’t exist without its Southern based
customers. So far, their sin is just following the lead of the other
Taliban members and promoting the extinction of all things involving
Southern Heritage. I wish we could sue these anti-Southern bigots and
force them to remove South from their names. Sort of like that ING
company, the new Southern Company could logically be caller the ERN
company. Oh well, its just one person’s thought.
The South Trust Bank is another unusual
company, I say unusual because the Chairman of the Board of South Trust
actually responded to my typical letter threatening to close my accounts
(I have) and move our Church accounts (we did) from South Trust because of
their contributions. While the
gentleman, Wallace D. Malone Jr., informed me he didn’t appreciate those
kinds of threats from a Preacher (shame on me), he didn’t think there were
“25” people in the South who cared what PAC they gave to, or what that PAC
did with the money. We sent him a petition with 244 names on it protesting
South Trust’s contribution. No one has heard from South Trust
again.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC)
is much like the SPLC in that they heavily favor their editorial position
in coverage of the news. Should someone write an intelligent letter to the editor in support of
the 56 flag, or even worse calling the politicians who sold us out "sell outs," it will never see print.
Write something in crayon and they may publish it in color, anything to demean the 56 flag or Southern
Heritage. Write a letter not even to the AJC opposing the 56 flag, and it gets published in its entirety, to
wit, the Political Insider Column dated 11/26/03. They'll publish any turncoat's message if it suits their slant
on the issues.
If you must read the AJC, please read their on-line edition; it's free and you won't be financially supporting
our enemies, and ---make no mistake about it----
they are our enemies.
There you have it, the organizations that hate
Southern Heritage and are truly Cultural Assassins
. One of the proof-readers of this article asked how can we take
on these large organizations. In my opinion it's sort of like eating an
elephant, you do it one bite at a time. Some of these organizations we
can’t affect like the SPLC, or the Black Legislative Caucus. As a body we
can’t do much other than ridicule the Atlanta Chamber Pot of Commerce,
which I do everywhere I go.
Rather than throwing
our hands up and saying my vote, or the little amount I spend isn’t going
to matter, instead make sure you vote at the ballot box and with your
wallets. Coca-Cola sales were off in the 3rd Quarter. Not
because I boycotted Coca-Cola but because there were hundreds of thousands
of you that boycotted Coca-Cola and they’ve noticed.
Every vote counts,
every dollar spent counts, and if we can ever learn to block vote (I know
I belong in Fantasy-Land), then we can elect people who will care about
us, and when companies get letters about Southern Heritage people boycotting, they’ll fear us
more than Jessie Jackson.
One step at a time,
Coca-Cola first, the sorry Legis-Traitors on the Deck of Shame, the
Governor, one at a time. Everyone reading this can make a difference, it’s
time to tell these Cultural Assassins individually and
collectively, “WE AIN’T GONNA TAKE
IT NO MORE.” Then we must do what we say.
