Heritage Molesters Expose themselves again
Here we go again.
Tyrone Brooks is exposing himself again. His style of divisive racial demagoguery poses a real threat to American civilization, but his relentless presence for two decades has
desensitized Georgians...they are so accustomed to his hate-filled squawking, it hardly causes the "stir" it once did.
In these recent news stories (links below) below, you can get the details.
Push for felon voting rights causes stir
Brooks advocates voting rights for Georgia felons
In a nutshell, Brooks references a "study" that reveals that a large percentage of black men in the Atlanta area cannot vote because they are convicted felons still in jail or on probation. Brooks doesn't say outright in the story, but the unstated premise is that the disenfranchisement situation
for Georgia felons is a result of "racism" and "racial bigotry" inherent in Georgia's legal system.
This is an old "post hoc" logical fallacy and one long promoted by Shakedown specialist Je$$e Jack$son and others. They argue (weakly) that
because blacks are disproportionately represented in prison populations then "it must be because of racial discrimination." No other plausible explanations are considered possible...and to suggest otherwise is be labeled a de facto racist.
But the bottom line for Brooks is that his power base is in the black sections of Atlanta and he wants those felons who would likely vote for him to have the right to vote.
Many of you are laughing, confident that such a crazy idea would never pass the legislature. Some of you are outraged that anyone would even
suggest felon voting rights, let alone sponsor legislation to enact it. As Virgil said, "Fortune favors the bold."
This is consistent with the Brooks pattern, folks. Don't forget that this is the same man who introduced legislation to change the state
flag (the '56 flag) for almost twenty years until he found the right combination of useful idiots (Barnes, the Atlanta Chamber, et. al.) to accomplish his goal. Give Brooks credit for
being relentless and patient. He's a patient stalker and heritage molester.
You think "molester" is too strong a label? Allow me to justify it.
Brooks is on record as defending convicted child molester Dwight "Malachi" York, the leader of the Nuwaubian cult that took residence in Putnam county some years ago. The Nuwaubians
had multiple run-ins with the law, and Putnam Sheriff Howard Sills stood his ground. Brooks intervened and persuaded one-term Governor Roy Barnes to call Sheriff Sills and get him to "back off" the Nuwaubians. To Sill's credit, he did his duty to uphold
the law despite the efforts of Barnes and Brooks.
Space prevents me from telling the whole Nuwaubian story, it's really strange, and if it weren't for the fact that this egomaniac nutcase was molesting children, it would be funny. Do a
Google search for "Nuwaubians" and "Dwight Malachi York" and you'll find hours of reading. Suffice it to say that the Nuwaubian compound was raided and York later confessed to molesting dozens of minors and transporting them across state lines for that purpose. He later recanted and his primary defense has been
that he is "Chief Black Eagle" of the Yamassee Native American tribe and that he is therefore not subject to Georgia or federal jurisdiction. I'm not making this up. At various times he's claimed to be an extra-terrestrial being, an Egyptian, a cowboy and now an Indian.
Tyrone Brooks was quoted in a story in the Augusta Chronicle (Feb.25, 2001):
``Oftentimes out of ignorance, false images are developed in the mind of folks. That leads sometimes to confrontations, and a community can become divided,'' said Rep. Tyrone Brooks, D-Atlanta, president of the Georgia Association of Black Elected Officials. Mr. Brooks went to Putnam County in an attempt to mediate the dispute between the Nuwaubians and officials.
....Others who have known the Nuwaubians say the group just takes some getting used to. ``The Nuwaubians are no different than any other group,'' Mr. Brooks said. ``They simply are new to this region.''
Tyrone Brooks is a specialist at dividing people, so naturally he accuses everyone else of being "divisive." Brooks has made a career of it. But I must differ with Brooks by pointing out that the Nuwaubians were "different" and their leader was not only criminal, he was a sick pervert.
So the question is, did Brooks support and defend York simply because York is black? That is, because Brooks is a racist? Or did Brooks really know York well and approve of his behavior? To put it another way, is
Brooks a liar? Or one who condones child molestation?
Judge for yourself, but I suspect (opinion only) that Brooks is merely a racist and a liar and not one who knowingly supports pedophiles and perverts.
Here's a quote from the May 9, 2002 Macon Telegraph:
"(York) is certainly a target of the sheriff," Brooks said. "The sheriff of the county has made it a personal mission to destroy the character of the Nuwaubians. I would be highly suspicious of any charges such as these, knowing the kind of man that he is. I've been around Dr. York, and I've spent a lot time with him."
Brooks also said he questions the nature of the charges because of conversations he has had with state law enforcement officials about York and the Nuwaubians.
"I've spoken to the (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) and other agencies, and they say these are peaceful people," Brooks said. "The Nuwaubians are folks just like you and I. I don't think you ought to be condemned based on your religion."
Brooks said the lawyers will "sort out the evidence of these particular charges," but if the Nuwaubians call on him for help, he will be available.
"I will await a call from Dr. York in terms of what they want people like me to do," Brooks said. "When we hear from them, we will meet, and we'll decide the next course of action."
Of course, Brooks quickly back-pedaled after York confessed and pleaded guilty to child molestation.
I don't characterize Brooks as a "Heritage molester" simply because he once befriended and "spent a lot of time with" a convicted child molester. Brooks has chosen to build a career on racial division and racial demagoguery
to exploit racial tensions for his own political advantage and to acquire power---just like many others.
But Brooks has been especially anti-Southern about it. In the late 1980s, the NAACP chose Southern symbols as their chief target (bogey man) because their membership was declining and they needed a bogeyman to convince blacks that the NAACP was still "needed."
Brooks was ahead of his time with regard to attacking Southern symbols...he's been leading the charge (with few followers) to change the Georgia state flag since well before it was "cool" to express hate for Confederate flags. Remember, too, that Martin Luther King, Jr. never once spoke of or wrote about Confederate flags as being "offensive" or any kind of threat to blacks. Brooks has been a serial heritage molester for decades. Perhaps "heritage predator" would be a better term.
Brooks and his Atlanta Taliban are not content to simply change the Georgia flag. They are bent on completely erasing all Confederate history from public view and perhaps even up to making possession of Confederate artifacts illegal. Is that a stretch?
Don't be so sure.
There is no doubt that he plans to erase Confederate history and heritage from public view. Brooks introduced House Bill 899 in 2003, which in effect would make the display of any Confederate flag or symbol illegal on public property and could mandate the destruction and removal of the
Stone Mountain memorial carving (publicly owned).
Given Brooks relentless efforts to remove the '56 flag from Georgia, we can count on him relentlessly pursuing the complete public erasure of Confederate history, too. Incidentally, the proposed legislation which is sure to be introduced again in the future, would also outlaw the flags of Great Britain, Mexico, Canada, Italy and every other national entity that ever made war with the United States. Like a gang-banger's shotgun fired at a crowd, there would be many
casualties besides the intended target, which is without doubt, Confederate flags.
Let's get back to Brooks' latest molestation. He wants to make sure various felons keep the right to vote to keep him in power. To him, it doesn't matter what the majority of Georgians want, he plans to use racial divisiveness, guilt-trips and the courts to win
this particular battle.
I believe that most Georgians would prefer to see Georgia felons PAY their debt to society rather than having society pay for the crimes of the felons.
We need to make sure felons NEVER want to return to prison by making it an unpleasant place. We need to put felons to work picking peaches, digging onions, cutting grass, whatever work we can find so that they can pay the costs of their incarceration and reduce the public expense. They should pay full restitution to their victims and to society. Then and only then should they be restored as full citizens with voting rights.
It's not about race, it's about justice.
According to Newton's Third Law, there should be some "equal and opposite" force to counteract Brooks. Instead, we have lying, backstabbing opportunists like Senator Eric Johnson who want to jump into the limelight. You'll recall
Johnson's little flag yanking stunt some time back...this is another opportunity for Johnson to jump out in front of the parade. No thanks, Eric, sit down and shut up.
The people don't need your grandstanding to know that we don't want felons voting. It appears that most of the Democratic leadership can feel the public-opinion breeze on this issue and they're not going to stand against it.
Brooks isn't afraid to buck the trends and march to his own drummer. He's out there with the NAACP, the ACLU and others filing suit to stop the Constitutional Amendment referendum in November to ban homosexual marriage in Georgia. Virtually no one besides the NAACP leadership sees homosexual marriage as a "civil rights" issue.
The sad truth is that many black religious leaders are outraged by the NAACP's disrespect for traditional marriage and black religious views. But have you read any news reports
of widespread protest or rebellion by the membership of the NAACP? Is power (voter numbers) more important than religious principles or principles in general?
That's a good question to ask the Republican Party, too. Perdue was elected based on a promise to let the people choose their state flag. Perdue lied. (See the Ninth Commandment.) The behavior of Perdue and his political cohorts in Georgia seems to suggest
that they put power and party above principles. For them, holding their power and acquiring more seems to take a priority over truth, principle and justice.
The people of Georgia, the rich heritage of Georgia and the Truth are all victims of these heritage molesters. Are we, the people, determined enough to get justice? It won't be easy. Georgians must come together to show their strength and take their government back. The longer we delay, the more difficult it will be.
