Our Enemy, the State – Commentary by Joan Hough
"It would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our choice to silence our fears for the safety of our rights...
Confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism....In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but
bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."
--Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions, 1798
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
--George Washington
I have seen the enemy and he is us.
The unabashed efforts of our strong, all powerful Central government to drag this nation of ours, step by step, into One World Government should now be apparent to even the most naïve, bleeding-heart liberal among us, The plans made by our President and his cronies in both parties have been revealed but not halted. The building of an “Entry Port” in America’s heart (Missouri) is proof positive of our government’s intentions to erase American sovereignty and change us into a mere state in that despicable 1 Jan 1994 NAFTA. (North American Free Trade Agreement making borderless combined nations). Members of Congress, along with our “Globalist” President must be readying themselves to shout, “Today NAFTA, tomorrow, the world!” and “Money Trumps!”
The government’s decision to import a second batch of Muslims here (7000, the Houston Chronicle reports Feb. 19, 2007 )) on top of the 6,000 brought into PA, unheralded, unadvertised in the summer of ’05, can only be translated as a direct attack on our heritage and the American Judaic-Christian Culture that this nation was based on. Congressional agreement to bring in these aliens is another advancement of the Internationalists’ (the Globalists) plans to erase all memories and influence of our mainly Christian American ancestors.
Remember those? They were the ones who conceived, fought, bled, and died for American liberty in that War of 1776. They were those young and old white men and their women whose sacrifices gave us the greatest nation on the planet. They were those men with the genius intellects who, with their vast knowledge of governments of the past and their understanding of the Magna Carta and the most advanced laws of England , gave us a Republic.
(As you no doubt know, when William the Conqueror invaded England, he found it to be a nation with laws— quite a surprise to the invading French from a nation without such. Those long ago English understood the need for laws to restrain their government.)
With divine inspiration, our founding fathers created one of the most amazing documents the world has ever know—the U.S. Constitution. Who were the founding fathers? They were those young and old guys, possessors of great wisdom, great fire, and tremendous courage who were all well aware that without a populace tied together by a common language and by a common belief in God, and a respected blueprint for government, precisely like the U.S. Constitution, our nation would be altered and die.
They were those brilliant thinkers who deliberately and painstakingly made us into a REPUBLIC and NOT a DEMOCRACY, because they knew Democracies do not last. They were those white men who gave us no King, no Emperor, but only a President. They were those men of remarkable erudition who made the Law that no one man could DECLARE WAR, that it could only be declared by Congress. They were the men who preached “good fences make good neighbors and strong borders keep out the unwanted.” They were those men, violently opposed, to foreign entanglements.
They were the men who knew that having the STATES’ legislatures elect the U.S. Senators, rather than have them elected by POPULAR vote meant that the folks in the towns, in the cities, in the wild woods, could put the screws to their state Representatives and state Senators and make them recall those Federal Senators if the U.S. Senate’s actions were displeasing.—something, virtually, impossible to do when Senators are elected directly in a state wide, popular election as they are now. The amendment of 1913 tore that law from the Constitution, so today we have our Ted Kennedys in Congress for their lifetime of bad behavior. (But surprise! There is a national movement underway to repeal the 17th Amendment. Arizona and New Mexico are involved. Virginia never agreed to it in the first place. Other states are indicating interest.)
Because our founding fathers knew that Rome died after it was altered from a Republic into an Empire, they did their utmost to tie our leaders and government into a Republic with the CHAINS of the Constitution. They balanced our government on the tri-pod of liberty—making each of the three divisions a check on the others.
Those chains have not, through time, rusted. Many of their links, however, have been chopped to teeny pieces.
The chopping is continued by our government’s most recent decision to add many thousands more of Muslims to our citizenry. Without announcements, our government brought 6,000 into PA in the summer of ’05. Now it is bringing in 7,000 from Iraq . Couple these actions with the refusal of our government to stop the flow of illegals over the border and to stop our U.S. banks from giving illegals credit cards, and helping them buy houses in the U.S., and what do we have? Hospitals closing, school crowding, citizens harassed for taxes to pay for more and more services for illegals. Diseases brought in by illegals. Illegals committing murders and other horrendous crimes. Illegals causing wrecks and then running back to Mexico to avoid paying the victims. More drugs. Illegals coming in from enemy nations—and a promise of anarchy.
Our immigration problems include both legal and illegal horrors and are trains enroute to explosive smash-ups. What must we do about them? This importation of Muslims must be halted. One does not need imagination to recognize the results probable when cultures in conflict are brought face to face on American soil.
The invasion of the over the border illegals must cease. Someone must have the Constitutional guts to look our government in its money-grabbing face and tell the men and women who are supposed to be the “servants of the people” to cease “controlling us” and start fulfilling their oaths to the U.S. Constitution, which means that they must use troops to close our borders and guard them, send back home the criminals (and all who sneak over here are that, including those illegals sneaking in from enemy nations) and find some other place for the Muslims. And that Immigration port in Missouri needs to go!!!!
It is past time for TRUE Americans to tell our present government that the men and women in it are not the intellectual giants they think themselves—that they are not, mentally even able to shine the shoes of our founding fathers, so, instead of declaring the Constitution “just a piece of paper,” they had best get themselves busy repairing its broken chains or be prepared to face consequences delivered from an irate citizenry.
The sophisticated University professors of today, themselves, may use their sophistry to challenge the ideas of our founding fathers, but they only have a wee time longer to fool themselves and the young sycophants whom they grade and those students whose gullibility will be passed on down through the generations to their children or in America’s Government Controlled National Educational/propaganda centers called schools.
The American public is stirring. The American public is awakening.
