Thanks to the marvelously compassionate Houston Chronicle, the newspaper’s reading area will, shortly, be filled to flood level with compassion for criminals--—that is to say for lawbreakers who swim, crawl, fly, run, walk, skip, ride or totter from Mexico to Texas, from Central America to Mexico to Texas, from the far lands of sand, from China, from Korea, etc., to Mexico to Texas. After perusing the Chronicle’s pages, one, surely, cannot help but conclude that all those border-crossers have human rights, far exceeding any artificial rights of U.S. citizens wishing to maintain borders, and to cease paying vast sums of money to provide services to illegals and to prohibit killers from attacking us.

The Chronicle and numerous other U.S. publications have cornered the market on tears. Never have readers been so inundated with stories of the sad, sad plight of gravely misunderstood aliens whose only crime is that they wish to be Americans just like all the immigrants who came as Pilgrims. Immigration quotas should, certainly, be waived for some whose hearts are so true and whose cause, so just—so they say.

The reader is encouraged to wallow in pity for the stalwart, industrious, brave law-breakers now able to buy homes on U.S. soil because of such wonderfully kind, relaxed mortgage lender rules. For these new buyers, even social security numbers are not a necessity. The legal citizens are almost coerced to make welcome those Latinos unable to obtain legal papers, so purchase all their U.S. identity papers, social security cards, driver’s licenses at a local Mexican flea market.

The Chronicle’s pages are littered with wonderful attractive color photos of the charming folks that mad, crazed, minute men and women and other bigoted European type white or brown or red Americans would ban from citizenship in a country dedicated to freedom and liberty for all. Such banning can only occur in a land where people have no hearts, so it is said.

In some families here, only one of their members is a legal American. This one is, as might be expected, the “anchor” babe, born of an illegal mom on the U.S. side of the border. ( It was reported on Internet that one of the illegal moms from a far away place, took a flight to America and had her baby at US taxpayer’s expense and even received taxpayer’s money to fly back to her “home” with a little American citizen. Certainly the young woman was a clever gal.

What horrors all the border jumpers must experience-- all because we reject the United Nations’ desires and are refusing to allow our fine president to open our borders to the peoples of the world. We even speak out against the UN plan for Socialism in the U.S. We even claim that the lovely, progressive names given special programs of Socialism are done so to disguise the machinations of the one worlders. Some of us, actually, go so far as to urge U.S. legislators to get the U.S. out of the U.N.

Some of us old ones remember that the original purpose of the UN, when it was sold to Americans, was, purportedly, to function as a “debating society” and avoid future wars by talking. Some of us remember, vividly, that Alger Hiss, the Communist, and one time protégé’ of Woodrow Wilson, the idealist, was the designer of the UN Charter. Some of us still cannot understand how Hiss succeeded in avoiding being imprisoned for treason, and was, instead, punished only for perjury. We were horrified when he was invited to tour the nations’ institutions of higher learning and give very expensive speeches about how he was wronged. (The truth of his perfidy was fully revealed in Soviet archive papers released years later. Nevertheless, Hiss’s devotees continue to deny his guilt and continue to attack all who claim its existence.)

Our only saving grace in the Border War, some say, is that once the crawlers crawl over the “Great Divide,” we allow them to be greatly rewarded for their law-breaking by giving them free this and free that—--free schooling for their kids, free food (breakfast & lunch for the kids), free food for all in special kitchens for illegal immigrants sponsored by a large number of bleeding heart groups including Catholic churches. Free safe houses are favorably reviewed by our newspapers such as the Houston Chronicle. Our police are ordered to ignore the, obvious illegals and must never inquire as to their place of citizenship. Free medical care, free hospitals, free medicine---it never ends.

Within the heart warming pages of the Houston Chronicle, readers are given an inside look into the hearts and minds of the citizenship-deserving illegals. One mother in a family of illegals was quoted saying that they would return to Mexico in a minute if they could get there what they get here. Even if given citizenship, there is no doubt where this Mexican’s loyalty lies. And to think she will be able to vote in both countries!

Some of us think that the U.S. citizenship tests are totally stupid. Memorizing and writing one single sentence in English--—that’s adequate for assimilation? (Of course in Houston, Mexican speakers can vote in their own language. English is not required.) Knowing the colors in the American flag--—that makes for good citizenship? Knowing the name of Martin Luther King—--that qualifies one for citizenship? (Google "citizenship test" and read the questions.)

It, obviously, is not important that citizens know of the struggle early European-Americans endured to win freedom and liberty for us. New citizens have no need, it seems, to know the struggle American forefathers endured to gain the white-European created Constitution and Bill of Rights. New comers have no need to appreciate the special heritage that is the foundation of this nation and served to make ours the greatest nation in the world. Why should the incoming folks be concerned with our past when they can do just as was done by the hordes of aliens welcomed into the Roman Empire long ago--—abolish the creation of the host.

Should you believe that the communications media is not pushing open border propaganda, please read the December 5, 2005 issue of the Houston Chronicle. Illegals gobble up more than one half of the most important page in the publication, page 1A. More and more space is devoted to their cause on page 1A, 14A and 15A. Full pages are given to their cause on those last two pages. On December 6th, the reader is given more of the same. This treatment of illegals is routine in the Chronicle.

In one issue of the newspaper, however, it was announced that some of Houston’s apartment complexes, in the areas welcoming border invaders, are now reporting too many criminal activities and so the city is insisting that the apartments employ their own policemen. (That was true news and not just some reporter’s opinion.)

We, whom some declare heartless, cruel and mean, are not impressed with the words of reporters presenting their own beliefs, along with photos. We recognize biased “news” when we see it. We have grown never to expect fair and equal treatment will be given to the Minute Men and Women and to ideas of the son of a legal immigrant, Tom Tancredo, (a U.S. Congressman, representing the people of Colorado).

If being anxious to close our borders and protect what we have, if our wanting to safeguard the future of our own children and their children and their children’s children-- causes us to be labeled “hard hearted,” we deny the label.

If our desire to hold on to the U.S. Constitution and to limit even legal immigration to a number allowing folks to become fully assimilated makes us “cruel,” then we’ll not gladly accept and wear the scarlet letter “C,” for we know it is not the truth.

If our love for the blessings earned for us by ancestors who carved this nation out of a wilderness and shed their blood for it, has made our hearts impervious to feeling love for our fellow man, color us “heartless,” and we will fight both you and the color, because we know the color is a lie and you, a liar.

We will, only submit to being colored ‘wise,” as should be all citizens understanding cause and effect. We know what the future will be if our borders are erased. Erasing our borders will cause the greatest cataclysm this continent has ever known.

Border erasure = cataclysm.
