Aha! At Last the Truth... – Commentary by Joan Hough
Do you remember Cabaret--that Hollywood Movie of 1972 and the haunting lyrics and melody sung so passionately by Joel Grey and Liza Minnelli —in their roles of nightclub entertainers in pre-Hitler days in Germany?
“Money, Money, Money!—Money makes the world go round, the world go round, the world go round…”
The Monday, May 8, 2006 issue of the Houston Chronicle (p. D4) tells the readers “IMMIGRANT BILL WORRIES BANKS.” In this
lengthy article the words “undocumented aliens” are used throughout as a descriptor of the illegal, U.S. law-breaking invaders from across the
Mexican border.
The Chronicle article was, actually, published first in the Chicago Tribune, and was authored by one Becky Yerak.
Yerak reports that SECOND FEDERAL SAVINGS helps “undocumented immigrants” learn how to become homeowners by taking out loans from the bank. The bank,
according to Yerak, has made 782 loans to such folks—87 million bucks still owed to First Federal by the “undocumented.”
Ms. Yerak comments: “One banker worries that if the U.S. government plays hardball with immigrants, then hostilities
could erupt in the United States, just as they did recently in France.”
Whoa! Are we being warned as to what is likely to happen if we do not “cow-tow” to the foreign invaders who are
the Banks’ good customers? Are we destined to be governed not by U.S. law, but by our own fears---readily stirred by some unnamed banker?
Praise the Lord, then, and pass the ammunition, for nothing we own will be safe from anyone wishing to take it from us----but that's OK so long as the bankers get
their loans paid off. Hello Mexican drug lords, Hello bombers!
The “unnamed” banker mentioned above, went on to remind us, and is indirectly quoted by Yerak. “As part of an
Internal Revenue Service program, Second Federal issues individual taxpayer identification numbers or ITIN, to immigrants who don’t qualify for
a Social Security number, but who want to become homeowners and need proper documentation.” (PROPER documentation? ...as opposed to IMPROPER documentation?) Earlier in the article, a
Banker Doyle is quoted, “We really don’t differentiate between documented and undocumented.” (Something strange here?)
Webmaster's Note: Just tell the bank that you're an American citizen, but that you prefer to remain "undocumented" and
therefore you refuse to supply your social security number. Would they risk a discrimination lawsuit and refuse you a loan?
We are informed that Bank of America, Banco Popular, Citibank, Chase, LaSalle and Fifth Third all have branches in
the same heart of Chico Little Village neighborhood in Chicago, along side of Second Federal and that this is the site of the highest concentration
of Mexican immigrants, with “nearly half of the community” being “undocumented.”
Mitchell Maloney, chairman of Milwaukee’s Mitchell Bank is quoted by Becky Yerak, “Mitchell Bank also said it’s
‘impossible’ to sort people who are seeking banking services by their immigration status.”
I do not need to translate the banks’ concerns with Money, Money, and Money into ENGLISH for the vast majority of
U.S. citizens to get the picture. Not only are the meat packing industries, the chicken plucking industries, and some national stores and businesses
benefiting from almost slave labor, but our U.S. Banks (and real estate brokers) are wallowing in the law-breaker’s MONEY, MONEY, MONEY.
How can we expect our legislators, Supreme Court, and even our government employees, border guards, etc., to guard and
support our heritage, our U.S. Constitution, our middle-class Americans’ rights-- when our desires, our needs, our rights are countered by MONEY,
MONEY, MONEY? That was a rhetorical question; you KNOW the answer.
Wonder how the bankers would react if suddenly, we middle-class bona fide American citizens should begin waving
placards and U.S. flags and shouting for our GOD-GIVEN, REVOLUTIONARY FOUGHT FOR, CONSTITUTIONALLY- GUARANTEED RIGHTS?
Let’s change banks and/or spend some of our MONEY, MONEY, MONEY on some red, white and blue t-shirts to wear to our
own Constitutional/American Heritage—In Your Face, You Traitors! Rallies. (I bet the Illegal Invading hordes did not get permits for their rallies, so
why should we?)
And maybe some of our protest demonstrations should be held in front of the very Internal Revenue Service offices
giving banks the rights to enable crooks to buy homes in the U.S.--—and perhaps, even protest some of those banks raking in all that MONEY, MONEY,
MONEY from ILLEGALS, ILLEGALS, ILLEGALS.
And maybe we should, also, stand in the doors of the “hot dog” bureaucrats and 'leaders' in Congress who have made it
possible for law-breakers to be made so welcome in our land.
