CONGRESSMAN TANCREDO ON THE IMMIGRATION MADNESS – Commentary by Jim Dean

Congressman Tancredo of Colorado has been the lone sensible voice in Congress regarding our immigration mess. The others prefer the ostrich approach. They accept no responsibility whatsoever for the mess they have created on their watch.
Why? Well, there are two reasons...power and money. That is why the country is being sold out, which is the usual reason historically. But we actually have two versions of the selling of American.
The Democrats have been loyal friends of mass illegal immigraion because most congregate in the metropolitan areas and are quick to latch onto the government dependency racket taught so well be Democratic minority warders. They vote heavily Democratic to protect their money tree protectors.
The Republicans have been loyal friends to business interests who want the continued flow of cheap labor to keep wages under control here. This is their answer to slowing the movement of US jobs overseas. They bring the third world workers here instead. The U.S. worker loses out coming and going, which is something politicians are good and laying on the heads of their naive and apathetic constituents. Our meek acceptance of this exploitation makes us co-conspirators actually.
The media, higher education, and most religious institutions, have joined the Democrat/Republican tag team match of pummeling America through their tag team body slam immigration subversion. And subversion it is because it is changing America fundamentally, in violation of its laws, and with the help of countless subverters.
The Georgia Heritage Coalition will be working on our immigration crisis. Step one will be the education needed to show folks how our political institutions have actually subverted the country. It is a sad sad legacy for our Founding Fathers. Those that have been main players in the selling of America are held in great esteem while continuing their subversion. That begs the question of whether we deserve what we are getting.
Political imcumbents will never fix this problem. They have no intention of doing so, as with many other problems. Not fixing it is all part of the game. So lesson number one for today is that we the people are going to have to break the incumbency lock on our political process. That is where the fix goes in.
Here in Georgia we are faced with almost exactly the same situation not only with immigration but the heritage wars, too. The fix goes in at the leadership level. It's cheaper and you get more bang for your buck that way. If a leader goes down, you just buy the next guy in line, or both sides at once. Take a look at Sonny's and Barnes' heritage hater big-biz contributors and you will see all of their names.
It's them against us folks and they don't aim to lose. They don't think you have the will to resist. Maybe they are right. They certainly are about some of us.
Lesson number two is we are going to have to break the cycle of putting huge resources into unelecting one sellout, only to have him replaced by sellout number two. The hertiage movement got intorduced to this in spades last election cycle. But we are learning. We are getting stronger. And the string pullers behind the sellout politicians are going to have to deal with us personally before this is over. It is the least we can do to show our appreciation for their exploitation. That is a promise.
President's guest worker proposal is both dangerous and unworkable
