Multiculturalism under attack worldwide, by J. A. Davis
Multiculturalism preaches that we should allow and encourage immigrants and their children to maintain and celebrate
their own culture apart from the national culture. Society should be not a melting pot but, in the phrase of former New
York Mayor David Dinkins, "a gorgeous mosaic." That mosaic, of course, looked less gorgeous as people surveyed the
work of the British-born-and-raised bombers. --- Michael Barone
Occasionally these tired old eyes are treated to essays from those who
renew my hope for correcting the course of human progress.
Such is the case from a commentary
by Michael Barone on multiculturalism which I commend to your attention.
Throughout my lifetime I have experienced dozens of "isms"... Nazi-ism,
Communism, Socialism, racism and multiculturalism among many others. The "ism" that seems to rise above them all and
remain so, despite many blemishes is a gift of heritage we received in 1776 called Americanism.
Even those of us who have deep ties with
the Confederate states are still Americans. We have not and will not give up our ideals enunciated by our Founders.
Multiculturalism is a foreign ideology designed to remove every vestige
of the American and worldwide culture and way of life. It has been running rampant for many years now. Not just in
the United States, but throughout the world.
It is amazing to see how leftist groups have rallied support from
virtually every nation, business interest and the media to promote an insane philosophy. What is
really sad and signals a warning to us all is the willing support and capitulation by enablers that has taken
place.
The old Marxist trick of placing guilt on those gullible and weak kneed
governmental leaders, corporate interests, church and civic leaders who willingly agree we're all nothing but an
unconscionable horde of racists and xenophobes.
The worm has turned. Or, you might say the chickens have come home to roost.
All over the world we are seeing people with principle over politics turning their backs on multiculturalism. This has
happened in several countries of the European Union and very recently, Great Britain.
My experience from years ago working with President Eisenhower's People to
People program in Japan, The Phillipines, Australia and New Zealand convinced me that those peoples would never really give up
their culture, though they may not make a lot of noise about it.
It would be nice to report evidence of rejection of this foolish
doctrine by the Bush administration, or here in Georgia, by the Perdue administration. It hasn't happened. Don't hold
your breath in expectation of any reasonableness any time soon. The Whig-Republicans, the proper name for neo-cons who
are proponents of big government, big spending and imperial conquests haven't
got the vision or the guts that Tony Blair in Great Britain has. Bush and Perdue even
make the French look sensible on at least this issue.
It's time to do some dumping starting here
in Georgia. Those who support the promotion of multiculturalism and the
elimination of our American culture and heritage need to go. Don't let them soft soap you
with all the assertions of support for our traditions. Look at the record.
A good example of this came from Whig-Republican Ed Rynders this past week
when it was reported he admonished a group of patriots exercising their right of assembly and free speech.
He is reported to have said "Hey I support you, but you're going about this all wrong." He was taking exception to those
patriots embarrassing Gov. Perdue in front of his supporters by reminding them all of Perdue's lies on the State flag and Fair vote.
What better example could we have of the attitude of party over principle?
Those who give lip service to supporting a Fair Vote but who won't co-sponsor HB-15, they
are an example that comes to mind. Another is those who pay lip-service to dealing with the illegal immigration invasion, yet their
actions are entirely different. Another is those who give lip-service to "property rights" while all the while supporting
Perdue's agenda of anti-sunshine secrecy, land-grab bills (e.g., SB-5), and promoting advantages for the elite. Those
who maintain unqualified support for liars and hypocrites like Ralph Reed and Sonny Perdue have sold their integrity and credibility
in exchange for political power. The ends justify any means? Is anything sacred? Or is everything for sale?
In fairness, we should say that all Republicans aren't Whigs, there are a few
who still stand (sincerely) for individualism, less intrusive government and rigid controls on spending....unfortunately, they seem
to be diminishing in number and influence within the party.
History will confirm the Whigs were a failed party that revived their
Hamiltonian philosophies by merging with among others, The Know Nothings, in the
development of the Republican party. They came to prominence in 1860 when they elected Whig Abraham Lincoln and
launched the decline of Constitutional liberty in America. Hamiltonian consolidationist ideology has
grown with each year since.
Most Americans have never been told and would be surprised to know that the 1860
election was controlled by a large influx of around 300,000 German Marxist immigrants who had lost their rebellion
and fled Germany. With the full blessing of Karl Marx they settled in strategic locations such as Ohio, Wisconsin
and Pennsylvania and en masse supported Lincoln. Without these votes, Stephen Douglas would have been
president and the most destructive war on this continent would have been postponed if not avoided altogether.
The Know Nothing influence still seems
to be abundant within the current Whig-Republicans. Sadly, there are few true
conservatives (by Constitutional standards) in what really is the party of Hamilton. More sadly, there are even less in
the Democratic party, the party founded by Jefferson and Madison.
During the coming months leading to an
election year in Georgia, we at GHC are dedicated to exposing those lawmakers in
Georgia who make pretty words and vote putrid desecration of the great values we love, American liberty, individualism
and traditionalism. They've lied to us long enough. It's time to turn them out of office. Maybe we can call their removal
"involuntary retirism."
