The most irritating comments we hear from those with whom we most regularly communicate derive from the almost unbelievable shift in public perception in the past twenty years or so. During this period, we have witnessed an unprecedented attack on American culture, true history and all American heritage.

Note, I said American, which includes all Americans, of all ethnicities, faiths and cultures. While the assault has some outward appearances of morality, fairness and equality for all, it is in truth anchored behind the curtains by the most pernicious threat to our Republic as any plot to overthrow us since the War of 1812. That was when many early citizens betrayed the liberty of the Revolution by either joining the enemy or refusing to support the continuing war for independence and against the invasion of our country.

You need not be reminded, I hope, we came very close to losing our nation of states, and our independence. Our capitol was invaded, the White House burned and the government thrown into a state of chaos.

There were loyal patriots who were willing to once again lay down their lives and property for the great dream enunciated in The Declaration of Independence. While upwards of one half of the population at one time or another either didn't care or help, or actually supported the British. The perseverance of the patriots again won.

You might ask, what happened to those who sold out the new country? History records many interesting accounts. Some were virtually ostracized from society. Some were chased to new territories while a large contingent added significantly to the population of Canada. Some stayed in New England under a veil of innocence which seemed acceptable to their boon companions who were just as complicit.

In my view and that of many I talk with, we are in a similar if not more serious situation in America today.

A foreign born plot to overtake us from within has been at work continuously for more than two decades. It is called political correctness by its perpetrators but in truth it is an incremental, quiet revolution to destroy the Republic.

It was well planned and designed to gradually, one by one, overtake every institution and culture in America. Like time capsules, targeted mainstays in American life were attacked as politically incorrect. A victory over the most patriotic area of the nation, the South, was foremost in the time table.

It became essential to deter Southern heritage in order to advance other elements of the anti-American campaign which includes religious freedom, the right of free expression without oppression, the consent of the governed at the lowest levels of government rather than unconstitutional national or top heavy state laws and regulations. In virtually all cases, replacing individual rights with those of the new communitarian law designed to exalt "the community good" by empowering un-elected special interest groups to determine the course of governance.

Enter next the time capsule for diversity, which also brings on multi-culturalism. This phase of the cultural revolution has taken hold in virtually every aspect of American life where churches, multi-national corporations, a willing media and every level of government is involved in wittingly or unwittingly destroying the American Republic.

Try asking any of those involved, be they clergy, corporate leaders, media or elected officials if they are aware of the implications of what they are supporting? You will get some real soft soap about their great fidelity to freedom and democracy. Note those code words, freedom doesn't mean liberty and democracy doesn't mean a republic. All the nations in the world that are now promoting communitarian world government boast of their freedom and their democracy.

Watch out also for those who harp on representative government. The Constitution spells out a form of representative government but it doesn't refer to these united States as a representative government. It is referred as a Republic. Look and see. The communitarians can and do claim to be a representative government. Representatives chosen from elite interest groups---not elected!----to control certain aspects of government, business and social life.
